Bruno was found roaming a school at about 6 months old. He was very skinny and starving so the lunch lady’s fed him and a friend of mine took him home. Right alway he fell in love with Bruno but his chihuahua was too anxious around him. He gave me a picture of him to get the word out that he needed a home. As I was reaching out to friends and coworkers I fell in love with him so I took him home. He gets along well with my two small dogs but not sure he would get along with others. He sees a cat, he wants to chase it. He’s 70 lbs and very strong. I’m a smaller person and never had the strength to fully train him to walk without him pulling and instinctually wanting to run free as he did when he was homeless. I tried the prong collar but he has a negative reaction to it. He is a very loving dog to humans of all sizes and ages but is still puppy like and may do better in a home with older children. He will need a strong owner who has the time to train him to walk on a leash. He would benefit from obedience training and he is dominant. My attempt to introduce him to a larger dog of a friend of mine ended up with Bruno attempting to dominate him but he was not violent. I love him very much but I’m limited in my ability to give him a full healthy life and I’m going through a life transition of which I’m unable to keep him.
