Paka and Juba's Information

Spayed/neutered: Yes

Paka and Juba are friendly, healthy, well-behaved, female short-haired tabby cats. They will surely provide calming, affection, and occasional entertainment in exchange for food, security, and attention.

Both are spayed (of course!) and neither have any health issues. Both will come with up-to-date vaccinations and their veterinary records. They don’t need any special care – beyond food, love, and attention – and both seem to be fine with quality dried food.

Paka and Juba are not litter-mates but they very much enjoy each other’s company, so it’s really important to us that they could stay together. Paka is eleven years old and much enjoys a warm lap and soft petting. Juba is nine years old and more active. While both enjoy an indoor/outdoor lifestyle, Paka is more the homebody and Juba more the explorer. Both enjoy sleeping on our bed with us. They have been with us since they were kittens, when we acquired them from rescue shelters. We could carry on and on about how charming, companionable, and entertaining they are, but we are hopelessly biased. We feel confident they can quickly earn the love and affection of their new guardians.

Paka and Juba have been splendid companions for 11 years and 9 years, respectively. Though it will be sad for us to say good-bye, we now need to find a new home for them. We have just sold our Rockridge-area home of 28 years and will be splitting our time between here and elsewhere in California, near our grandchildren. Paka and Juba need more stability than we will be able to provide.

Paka is the grey tabby in the photos, Juba the tan tabby. Both are on the small side – just under 8 pounds.
