Sadie was adopted in August from the municipal shelter. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Sadie is housebroken and knows basic commands like sit and shake. She likes to go for walks, play with her rope toy and run around in the backyard. While there are lots of great things to say about Sadie, she does have a bite history and needs to be rehomed with a family with dog experience and without children or other animals. Sadie will be protective of her people and barks at strangers in her yard (e.g. service people).
Sadie’s current family has 2 small boys; Sadie gave the smaller boy a warning bite when provoked but now has bitten again unprovoked. She is patient and tolerant of the older boy but now is agitated by the younger one and it’s become an unsafe situation. Sadie had been found stray prior to her August adoption so it is unknown if she’s had a difficult past with other children. It is recommended she only be rehomed with families without children or other animals.
